Adult Day Programs

Connection for your loved one. Time to care for yourself.

AgeMaine’s Adult Day Programs offer adults living with dementia or memory loss opportunities to stay socially connected, build friendships, and enjoy activities that support cognitive and physical wellness. At our centers in Biddeford, Portland, and Springvale, members spend their days with people who get to know them. Activities are shaped around their interests, from music and art to games, gentle movement, and conversation. Caregivers have dependable time to work, run errands, or rest.

Each center provides the same safe, enriching, and compassionate environment — uniquely tailored to the community it serves.

Is Adult Day Programming a good fit for my loved one?

For your loved one:

  • Stay connected and engaged.  Our person-centered activities nurture social connection, cognition, and joy.
  • Experience a safe, welcoming space.
  • Build confidence and purpose.  Programs are matched to individual interests — art, music, movement, gardening, games, and conversation.

For you, the caregiver or referral partner:

  • Enjoy essential respite time. Rest, work, or recharge while your loved one receives quality, compassionate care.
  • Get expert guidance and connection. We offer caregiver coaching, support groups, and dementia education.
  • Trust in proven quality. The Adult Day Program helps individuals stay at home longer and improves well-being for both care partners.

“I think the first time I went to the Adult Day Program, I left with tears. It felt good to finally know I had some help, and it was help from people that I trusted.”
